Floral is the biggest hand-block printing tradition of Rajasthan — and our largest collection. Over 130 designs across roses, carnations, wildflowers, marigolds, vines and mixed botanicals, printed by hand in Sanganer on 100% cotton.

Why hand-block floral beats screen print

Floral is the hardest motif to get right by hand. Each petal needs a separate block, each stem a different depth of carving. A 7-petal rose repeat can take 5 blocks to layer: outer petal, inner petal, stamen, stem, leaf. A screen print flattens all of that into one layer. A hand-block floral has depth — colour on colour, slight overprint, and the human micro-variation that gives each sheet its own character.

Dyes

Every floral in this collection uses azo-free dyes tested against IS 7880 — safe on all skin, including children. The pink in a rose comes from madder root; the yellow in a marigold from pomegranate rind; the green from indigo over turmeric. All natural, all Sanganer.
