Refund policy

At ThreadKalaa, each product is crafted with precision, care, and a deep respect for artisan traditions. Because every piece is made to order, orders are not eligible for return, except in cases of damage, defects, or incorrect delivery.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Thread Kalaa holds sole discretion in determining eligibility for exchanges. Requests received after the 48-hour window will not be eligible for exchange.

Exchanges

Your purchase is eligible for an exchange only under the following specific circumstances:

  • The product received is incorrect in style or size as per the order placed.
  • The product has a genuine manufacturing or quality defect.

How to Initiate an Exchange:

We take great care to ship products of utmost quality and do not accept Return/ Exchange for them.

Keeping in mind there is always room for human error, we exchange the product which is delivered with a manufacturing defect, provided, we are intimated about the same within 48 hours after it is delivered to you.

Please note:

An uncut parcel opening video is mandatory for us to be able to process complaints regarding defected/ missing or incorrect products.

In case of such an occurrence, we shall request the customer to send the product back to our address within the stipulated time. Upon receipt of the product, we shall initiate a fresh dispatch after a thorough inspection of the product.

Disclaimer: In the absence of the video, we will not be able to entertain any complaints/exchange requests.

Important Considerations:

  • Availability: In the case of a genuine manufacturing defect, a replacement will be arranged subject to stock availability. If the item is no longer available, a full refund will be issued.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, and include all original tags and packaging.

Returns & Logistics

To start a request, please email care@threadkalaa.com. Our support hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST).

If your claim is approved as a manufacturing defect, damage, or incorrect item, Thread Kalaa covers reverse-shipping. We will arrange the pickup or share a prepaid return label with you.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please note that it can take 5–7 business days for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Artisan Craftsmanship – A Note

Our products are handcrafted using traditional hand-block printing techniques. Minor variations in print, texture, or color are inherent to the handmade process and are not considered defects—they are the unique signatures of artisan craft and conscious living.
